At the bakehouse you have access to a multi functional space tailored for your needs. Fully modernised and part of the loaf bakery, cafe and deli, the bakehouse brings you a modern facility in a unique historical location.

With you in mind the room is flexible to allow for meetings, training sessions, small conferences, and social groups and functions.

The room can be tailored made to suit your requirements from a basic room hire package to a more defined hire including catering provision.

You can be guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome and excellent service during your visit and delicious home made food from our kitchen next door at the loaf.

Bread making courses at the bakehouse

We are delighted that we are now offering bread-making courses in the former bakehouse in Crich. We recently completed expansion of the bakery production premises and from October 2011 we have had the space we need for one-day courses. Here is a blog entry with some pictures of the first two courses and some comments made by the bakers who took part.

Terms and Conditions

A 50% deposit is required upon booking or payment in full if preferred. This can either be cash, cheque or credit card. If paying over the phone via card we can arrange to call you separately to process the transaction as our card machine is linked to our phone line.

Where cancellation occurs the following applies:-

  • Cancellation within 1 month of your booking a full refund will be given.
  • Cancellation within 2 weeks of your booking 25% of the deposit will be refunded.
  • Cancellation within less than 1 week of the booking no deposit will be refunded.
  • The remaining balance (ie 50% if paid already) will be refunded whatever the circumstances of your cancellation.

The full balance must be paid in the week leading up to your booking or at the point of arrival on the day of your booking.

All confirmations, invoices and receipts will be (where at all possible) done via email.
