Cheeses from Thornby Moor Dairy

We're delighted to welcome back our family friends from Thornby Moor Dairy near Thursby in Cumbria who make a delicious range of cheeses.

Started in 1979 by self-taught Carolyn Fairbairn, the dairy produces cheeses made primarily from cows or goats milk from local farms. We have the following to tempt you with:-

Tovey â€“ a semi-soft, naturally ripened goats cheese
Crofton â€“ semi-soft naturally rinded mix of cow and goat milk
Cumberland Farmhouse â€“ a full rounded flavour & buttery texture
Cumberland Smoked â€“ smoked over pure Cumbrian oak
Blue Whinnow â€“ a delicately blued cheese with a supple body
