Both branches of the loaf - the original in Crich and our new branch in Matlock - have a friendly and welcoming café serving a varietly of hot and cold drinks and food.
Proving popular in Crich is a range of gourmet sandwiches served on a choice of crusty white, malted grain, sourdough bread or bread of the day with coleslaw and our house salad:
Home-roasted chicken breast with lemon and tarragon mayo
Cropwell Bishop stilton and apple with home made chutney
Mozzarella, cherry tomato and basil
Smoked salmon, yorkshire cream cheese and spring onion
Do come along for some lunch, tea and cake, or simply a relaxed coffee.
Though the menu is slightly different in Matlock, you will find the same delicious coffee and tea, home-made soups, sandwiches and toasties and a delicious selection of cakes
Dogs in the café
We are delighted to say that we welcome well-behaved dogs in the shop and café. We have many regular four-legged visitors and are happy to provide water if required.
Wednesday night is pizza night
